As was reflected in the latest amendment of the tax ordinance for the year 2014, which is already in force, young people under 30 whose household is unemployed, be exempt from paying the fee for the use of sports facilities, activities, training courses, workshops, organized by the Department of Youth and summer playgrounds.
This is an initiative from the departments of Sports, Youth and Social Policy through which shall be exempt from payment, upon request of the interested / a, the services provided to children under 30 years of age from living units in which all its members are unemployed or earn Social Security pensions lower than the minimum amounts.
The right to the exemption, which will be valid for 6 months from its issuance, shall be declared by resolution of the Executive Councillor of Finance, with proof of compliance with the above requirements, for which the applicant must submit, together with the corresponding instance the following documentation:
- Certificate of registration or flyer listing all the members of the family unit.
- For each of the members of the unit greater coexistence of age:
* To substantiate the unemployed: Working Life or certificate issued by the relevant Public Service Employment attesting to the status of such person as a jobseeker.
For lack of affiliation to the Social Security, certification of the General Treasury of the Social Security evidencing this fact.
* To substantiate the perception of Social Security pension of less than the minimum pension amount: Pension Certificate issued by the National Institute of Social Security.
Moreover, the Ordinances provide for bonuses of 50% where / as that have the Youth Card, 40% to under 14 years and 40% at all / as those who are aged between 30 and 35 and are unemployed (being in possession of the card employment demand SEF).
