The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, formalized the signing of two cooperation agreements this week, one with the Assembly Local Jumilla Red Cross, and another with a hospice Santa Teresa Jornet of Jumilla, to continue the services that both entities provide the City of Jumilla under the agreements signed.
On the one hand, along with Councilman Social Policy, Juan Calabuig, the agreement with the Nursing Home for an amount of 6,000 euros to the cost of maintaining the building was formalized.
Residence for their part, will have to keep the focus, as always, is provided to elderly people in a situation of neglect and abandonment.
Moreover, the Mayor and the Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellan, ratified the agreement on the provision of preventive services and first aid emergencies Jumilla Red Cross for the year 2013.
The agreement allowed the coverage of sports events organized by the Department of Sports such as Montan Bike del Barrio San Antón January, the IV Half Half Marathon and I Festrijump April, June Triathlon, or the Christmas race to be held morning, December 28.
The cost of the agreement is divided into two parts, one with preventive services organized by Sports, amounting to 13,453 euros, and other Services and the Department of Emergencies and Civil Protection endowed with 6,546 euros, totaling 20,000 euros.
