On the occasion of the upcoming holiday season, the Department of Equality, presented the "Pink or blue, why choose?" Campaign, aimed at the responsible choice of toys this Christmas.
Among the activities planned for the occasion, today Monday, December 2, at 19:30 will open at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia, an exhibition, a series of sexist toys to clarify the difference between them.
After the exhibition will be the workshop "What is important to choose gender-neutral toys" in order to raise awareness about the need to eliminate sexist and violent content of many games and toys and contribute to the development of attitudes and behaviors of cooperation , respect for differences and relations of equality between girls and boys.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the need for parents to start children in egalitarian and cooperative values, through toys and games, considered these main instruments of learning and socialization.
