The House approved a joint motion requesting support measures to farmers in the hamlet of Encebras (26/11/2013)

Yesterday, Monday, Nov. 25, took place in the city of Jumilla, the regular full month of November, in which they discussed among other issues, a joint motion on crop damage occurred in Encebras on 4 October, and the two motions filed by the Socialist Party, one for the creation of a special Information Commission and the other on drug copayment for cancer patients and Alzheimer's.

The city began with the reading by the Mayor-President, Enrique Jimenez, institutional statement, made by the three local groups, gender violence, which turned to denounce the rejection of this social scourge, and wherein the engagement of the municipal corporation to continue implementing local policies aimed at preventing inequalities arising from such practices and to provide appropriate assistance and protection to victims was reinforced.

ECONOMIC REPORTS

DEBATE OF MOTIONS

On the other hand, the last motion under discussion was presented also by the PSOE, in order to urge the Government of Spain, to annul the pharmaceutical copayment for drugs of cancer and hepatitis, and apply the same way the Regional Government not operate this measure.

The proponent Councilman John Watch, said in this regard that "these measures affect the quality of life of users, so a shift in the policy is urgently needed."
