Tomorrow Friday, one of the most accomplished comedies of Lope de Vega, "The fool was" reaches Jumilla hand Imagined Space Company, with a very transgressive version of the work of the twelfth century.
Lope de Vega, in his great production as a playwright out because, while maintaining the basic outline of entanglement, has greater depth in the subject.
Pretenders, raised and angry parents coming and going from scene telling us about their passions, and among them, a young woman who becomes intelligent because he reads, and reads it loves.
The work praises the importance of education in society, and shows how Finea, the protagonist, becomes a free person with the greater culture, ends up choosing to be smart or stupid depending on what suits you.
His father asks "Are not simple?"
and as in Act III she can say "When I want".
Youth will learn through this work that can remain dumb but that is a choice, not an imposition, and will do so through a highly adapted version of its time, with humor and nonchalance.
The work will start at 21.30 at the Teatro Vico, and tickets can be purchased, two hours Friday morning before the start of the function.
The tickets will cost 7 euros in armchair, 5 USD in orchestra and frank, and 3 in general.
