Tomorrow Saturday, November 9, in the Chapel of St. Augustine will be a concert of Baroque music "Iluni Music" organized by the Department of Culture and the Cultural Association Hypnos.
This is a classical second session focused on the baroque period, which this time will have the collaboration of components Iluni Music Group.
Created in 1978 in the nearby town of Hellin, Iluni Music Group has been developing over the years a continued concert activity aimed to spread the music before the nineteenth century.
The repertoire, which included medieval and Renaissance works, currently focuses on Baroque and pre-Classical period.
The interpretations are made using original instruments and historicist criteria for possible faithfully recreate the sound of each era.
The formation of its components has been performed in different national and international courses with professors from the category of Pere Ros, Suzanne Phillipe, Agostino Cirillo, Willem Jansen, Genoveva Galvez, among others.
Iluni Music has performed in various cities and towns across Spain, emphasizing the concerts in Estella, Burgos, Leon and Santiago, Toledo-tribute to Diego Ortiz-Madrid, Murcia and Valencia.
In 1986 he was selected for the National Exhibition of Chamber Music, held in Jaén.
Components are also founders of the Early Music Group of the University of Murcia and collaborated with different groups on tours of Europe, Egypt, or the U.S.
In addition, during the month of September 2005 he toured the state of Guanajuato (Mexico), performing a program of music of Don Quixote, with soprano Ana Luisa Espino.
The concert will begin at 19.00 and admission is free.
