Last October, classes were started in the ten courses offered within the program of activities of the People's University, promoted by the Department of Culture, for the last quarter of 2013, and finally there is the 290 enrolled students.
The course has attracted more activity has been to tailoring, in which there are over 180 students enrolled in 8 turns, so it had to increase the number of enrollments.
In 8 of the 10 courses have covered the positions offered, and in the remaining two have barely missed by two enrollments completed, resulting in a new success in this type of provision for adults in the municipality.
The courses have been offered this year were: bobbin, ceramics (2 shifts), tailoring (8 turns), drawing and painting (3 shifts) Jumilla guide, image, crafts, workmanship (3 shifts) furniture restoration (3 shifts) and tapestry and macrame.
The People's University is a center of education and culture for adults, which gives all citizens the opportunity to complete, update and enrich their training to participate in a dynamic and changing society through a program of courses and activities taking place during two semesters of the year.
