For the fifth year, next Sunday, November 10, will be held in Europe, the European Wine Tourism Day and more editing, Jumilla, as part of the European Network of Wine Cities, RECEVIN, commemorate this day with a series of activities aimed at promoting wine tourism attractiveness of the municipality.

The European Wine Tourism Day is a day that invites wine lovers and tourist to enjoy the activities organized by the cities and wine tours in different European countries that make up the network, with the aim to assess and promote the territory as economic assets and encourage wine tourism.

Cities and European wine tours organized around the wine sector activities such as guided tours to wineries, wine tastings and tastings, visits to tourist and historical places of the territory, walks through the vineyards, sample tapas, marriage, etc..

with the aim of promoting wine tourism in their territories.

From the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jumilla have organized open days in museums distintitos Township and two free tours to Castillo de Jumilla, which also remain open all day.

In addition, coinciding with the Gastronomic, that a year launches Jumilla Wine Route, have free visits and open house in eight of the wineries that are part of the association, with activities inherent in each of them.

So, BSI, Viña Elena, Casa de la Ermita, Carche Finance, Silvano Garcia, Carchelo, Viña Ringer, Bouquet Peep Luzon and wineries will participate in this year's open house.

The opening of the cellars, the discovery of the rich landscape and typical products, handicrafts and genuine, to discover the culture, nature and the typical characteristics of the territory, the main characteristics of each of the cities of the network contributes RECEVIN In this sense, coordination and promotion at European level this festive day, which, allows peaking territories delivered, with the participation of more and more European cities.
