On Thursday, Councillor of Commerce, Craft and Consumption, Antonio Valero, held a meeting are the Director General for Trade of the Region of Murcia, Maria Dolores Alarcón, in order to convey some of the initiatives that are to be developed in Jumilla on trade.
The strip mall was one of the main issues that developed in the meeting.
This is an initiative that seeks to revitalize local businesses in major commercial hubs of the municipality through a series of measures boosting.
The project, explained the Director General, it could fit into the Comprehensive Plan Competitiveness Support Retail Trade of Spain 2013.
This plan includes a set of measures of support and promotion that will allow to establish the proper foundation for a competitive and balanced growth of the sector.
At the same time, Maria Dolores Alarcon, Councilman announced that the Murcia Region shortly opt for a credit line of 28, 6 million euros for the creation, innovation and modernization of the trade.
Through this investment, it may finance the costs of opening new retail outlets, as well as refurbishment of existing ones.
Funding may be up to 80% of investments and 50% of current expenditure.
These grants will be allocated through the Official Credit Institute, ICO, retailing.
In this sense, one of the main innovations is that it has lowered the minimum value of the investment project from 150,000 to 30,000.
In this way, small traders can directly access to grants.
During the meeting, the Director General also announced that they are working on measures that will make the New Plan to Promote Retail Trade in the Region of Murcia, under the horizon 2014/2020.
This action plan will main shopping boost tourism, e-commerce, retail expertise, training and coordination with municipalities in planning actions and new commercial business.
Antonio Valero, also took to move the Director, various craft issues, aimed at enhancing the Artisan's House, in coordination with the General Directorate of Handicrafts.
To do this, it will offer different workshops and artisans throughout the Region of Murcia, among other measures.
