This past Friday, the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, together with the Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellán, showed the remodeling of City Hall "Carlos Garcia", after finalizasen improvement works on the premises.
The works have ranged from an increase in the capacity, with 400 seats, until the renewal of the rink, painting and installation of auxiliary door access inside.
The lighting has also been one of the improvements that have been developed in the pavilion, as well as enabling a suitable area for the disabled.
As noted Mayor Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, "it comes to providing the best facilities to the town of Jumilla, not only to teams and clubs who habitually use these sports facilities, but also for all local groups."
Mayor also thanked the efforts of Councillor for Sports for their commitment and desire that everything went correctly and said "that is the result of this work, the City Hall is at the height of the First Division of indoor soccer, and more importantly, to meet the demand of all Jumillano Jumillano from now can enjoy all the improvements. "
For his part, Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellán, said that "with these works Jumilla also enables you to play at home in the First Division, while afrontándose demand required the pavilion."
To celebrate the reopening, the CFS Montesinos Jumilla, met in a friendly match at UMACON Zaragoza, who also won by a decisive 4-2.
The match was dedicated to the memory of the player Carlos Garcia, whose family gave him various commemorative details, including a replica of the Castillo de Jumilla, who received the mayor.
The party was attended by various political and sports authorities, including the sports council of Yecla, Pedro Romero, President Futsal Committee of the Region of Murcia, Luciano Herrero, along with various members of the Municipal Corporation also attended the meeting.
