From 19.00 pm, Paseo Poeta Lorenzo Guardiola will house various sports activities aimed at children aged between 3 and 13 years, with which it aims to raise the Olympic spirit in the younger of the municipality.
Basketball, athletics, handball, badminton, table tennis, football and various workshops for children complete the program of activities, the registration is free and in which the first 300 children who participate will be a t-shirt gift in support of the candidacy .
Juan Manuel Abellán, as Councillor for Sports, explained at the presentation ceremony that the activities are educational at the same time creative, and that seeks to bring them younger the meaning of the Olympics, and the symbolism of that are composed.
Also explained that parents have a special role in the development of games since the intention is to form part of the activities, complemented well the leisure for the whole family.
Meanwhile, Almudena Martinez, Councilman Children, stressed the importance of promoting the values ​​associated with sport among children such as tolerance, obedience, understanding, specially in the infant stage.
Antonio Valero, Councillor for Citizen Participation, recalled that the activities open to all groups, and sports associations wanting and Jumillano Jumillano individually.
