During this week, members of the Military Emergency Unit, UME, the quartering of Bétera, Valencia, Jumilla have been performing in various practices and exercises focused on recognition of land with the purpose of gathering information in the fight against forest fires.
The operation was composed of three pumper vehicles and dozens of members of the EMU who have worked on the dump locating and studying forestry risk areas of Jumilla, for the benefit of future actions, while deepening the knowledge of the personnel, equipment and experience to LCIF device deployed in the area.
For two days, the unit has positioning practices with GPS devices in simulated wildfires which have also helped the fire brigades Infomur Plan of Jumilla and Yecla.
