From the Department of Culture and Tourism have developed throughout the quarter, various activities in the two municipal museums aimed at children of the town throughout the summer that have been able to present a didactic, some of the curiosities of the history of Jumilla and its evolution over time.
During the summer holidays children have learned and have fun with the activities that have been made from the different sections of the museum.
In July, small built and understand the operation of a sundial, met the Holy Week Museum and became a cave artists, painting a mural with his hands as did the men in prehistory.
Summer Activities Fair concluded at the workshop "When the Tigers dominated Jumilla", held at the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences and involving 29 children.
The activity co-organized by The SCL SCL House Museum and the Department of Culture and Tourism, was designed for small recreasen the landscape and animals, in 3D, the Hoya de la Sima million years ago.
Also closing the program of activities was held last week, the workshop "Small Archaeologists" in which 17 children discovered what lies behind this profession excavating remains on Paseo Juan Pablo II and later studying at the Archaeological Museum , which also restored them.
Children's activities will resume on Saturday, September 7, with a focused activity that children learn different trades represented in the section of the Municipal Museum of Ethnography, most unknown to them to be no longer in use.
On September 21, Archaeological Museum will host the workshop "Iberian Plate, tasteful dish" in which the little ones will discover the different Iberian pottery decorations.
