Among the activities planned by the Sports Council for Fair and Festivals in August, two of the regulars who have not missed this year have been the Tournament Badminton and Table Tennis which is now in its sixteenth edition.
The competition has run over two days during the weekend, in which registered players have been divided by two phases diputando groups in each of the disciplines.
In badminton, 13 participants have been enrolled and 5 children, while in table tennis, 20 adults participated in the test in the test and only two children.
On Monday the final was played at the Sports Pavilion CEIP Miguel Hernandez.
In the senior category after a tight round badminton finally prevailed Emilio Herrero Pedro Miguel Vazquez in the final by 2 to 0, while the children, Fermín Martínez repeated result with the winner against Andrea Lozano.
In table tennis, Vicente Jimenez won September 3 to 0 to Juan Sergio Perez.
In the junior category, Hélio Padilla snatched the top spot from Mark Abellán.
Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellán, was commissioned to deliver the trophies to the winners.
The next appointment with the sport will be this afternoon at the tennis singles final to be played on the slopes of the sports center at 6:30 a.m. La Hoya among Jumillano Antonio Perez and Antonio Garcia.
