AMFIJU Red Cross renewed its partnership agreement with the city of Jumilla to further develop various social action programs.
The Councillor for Social Policy, John Calabuig, has reported that recent grants the Board of Governors has given justified in relation to 2012, and two new ones are signed with the Red Cross and AMFIJU for 2013.
According resulted from the Local Government Board, have justified the subsidy given by fixing the agreement with Caritas Interparroquial for last year, 2012, that included six programs of action: helping families with basic needs, nursery and playroom Lady of Fatima, attention to pedestrians, wardrobe, Spanish classes for immigrants and the accompanying program, counseling and processing of documentation for immigrants.
The amount fixed for the agreement between Caritas and the city of Jumilla was 10,000 euros.
Furthermore, Calabuig reported two new agreements that the Department of Social Policy will sign with two associations of the town for this year 2013.
On one hand it will sign an agreement with the Red Cross Jumilla, which will develop advisory actions immigrants attention to families and children with social difficulties, and a program for seniors, such as paratransit service among others, plus a complementary service home help.
The agreement will have an amount of 5,000 euros and will be signed on Monday.
On the other hand, also approved the proposed agreement with the association jumilla AMFIJU.
This is to the home help service in parishes, mainly aimed at older people who reside outside the town of Jumilla.
This association also will address the transportation of persons with motoric limitations through an adapted vehicle with which facilitate mobility.
The agreement will cost 20,000 euros, also for this 2013.
