We have completed the redevelopment of the municipal cemetery.
The works involved the construction of a completely new niche site and part of another, as well as other interventions to complete the general enclosure to accommodate for the first time in our cemetery, columbarium intended to receive only the ashes of the deceased.
The process began in July 2012, when it adopted the draft now executed.
The manufacturing system of the niches has remained the concrete shuttering "in situ" using a patent for the use of fiberglass molds.
This system has considerable advantages over the use of prefabricated, especially in terms of odor control are not necessary since the ventilation ducts.
It has respected the type of "new cemetery" posed rows of niches covered porches protected, so that, while protecting these niches, courtyards can go even with inclement weather, rain or sun.
This model has been widely accepted by citizens.
The awarded works and improvements offered by the company, have involved the construction, in a little over seven months, of 264 niches, 66 pits and 30 columbarium, where the total cost of this work of 195 943 euros.
Councillor reported that, of all niches built, and as it has done on other occasions, will go on sale early about half, reserving the venues that face south for the deaths without reservation.
Fittingly public will draw conditions for the award of niches for sale, as well as the time limits set for this.
