The last weekend hosted Rico Tower farce rendering its 440th anniversary commemorative.
A historical comic farce went back to the beginning of the construction of the iconic tower, which names and uniqueness to this hamlet jumillana.
The farce, "The Tower Treasure", represented by the amateur theater group of the Association of Rural Women in the hamlet, written and directed by Gabriel Navarro, was represented in two passes, Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, to mark the anniversary, were also developed conferences Don Manuel Gea Rovira, scraps of history of Torre del Rico, and the Don Andres Artacho, La Torre del Rico, an emblem.
The Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, who attended the performance on Sunday, accompanied by several town government team, he congratulated the Association of Women for representation as well as the tireless work they do on behalf of the parish, boosting the social life in it, and encouraged them to continue working on the line that you are doing.
