This weekend Jumilla Old Town will host for the second consecutive year a Medieval Market, organized by the Department of Celebration and Craft, in collaboration with the company Markets Medieval The Troubadour and the Association of Artisans of Jumilla, which once again , add to this market.
From Friday through Sunday San Roque streets, Salvador Perez de los Cobos and Plaza de Arriba is decked medieval period embracing about 50 booths that offer variety of handicrafts from all Spanish geography, as well as various shows that will be produced by The Troubadour.
Market opening will take place on Friday from 17:30 am from 18:30 pm will be the performance of a group of fire juggling, at 19:30 am there will be a spectacle of pomp soap, the day on Friday will close at 21:00 pm with a show of juggling, magic and fire Cariocas, this same show will take place at the same time during the night of Saturday and Sunday.
The official opening of the market by the municipal authorities, will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm, half an hour later will start a workshop of paper flowers, begin at 19:00 purses workshop.
During the day on Sunday will be held two workshops, at 12:30 will start a workshop Rubber Eva and 19:00 hours a paint shop, at 23:00 will terminate the Medieval Market II Jumilla.
Also during the weekend, there will be exhibitions of birds flying at night taking place in the Plaza de Arriba.
The Department of Tourism, will also add to the activities of the Medieval Market Jumilla II, and that Sunday will be a guided tour "Jumilla Monumental" with shuttle bus to the Castillo de Jumilla, a fall walk along the Camino del Uploader , concluding with a visit to the market, all interested parties should register in advance of the Tourist Office, located in the Plaza del Rollo.
The Town of Celebration, Antonio Valero, has indicated that the Medieval Market which will be held during this weekend has virtually no cost to the City, as the administration is only responsible for the installation of services for the realization of same, also, took the opportunity to invite Jumillano Jumillano and visitors to tour the Old Town.
