In the Hall of the Nature of "The Guarafía" in the Botanical Garden, will present the work of murals and trees, participating in the competition held by this Council, on March 21 to celebrate the "Day of the Tree, whose winners were the 2nd Course of the College "Carmen Conde" and 3rd Year College "Stone Cross" centers gave two workshops on environmental education.
The exhibition will be open from 5 to 12 June 10:00 to 14:00 hours, except Sunday.
On June 5 also will be open from 17:00 to 21:00.
On 4 and 5 June, students from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of San Francisco School of visiting Ecopark.
Such visits will raise awareness of the problem of waste schoolchildren in the municipality, consider the importance of the participation of each in the process of waste management, explaining the operation of the facilities and understand the role of the Ecopark within the strategy of the 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle.
On Sunday June 9, from 9 am inside the Garden of the King Don Pedro, STIPA Naturalist Association, in collaboration with the departments of Environment and Services, a workshop building nesting boxes, another building homemade soap with used oil, plus some plants spread and explain the correct selection of waste.
