On Friday, March 8, International Women's Day, about five hundred women of Fuente Alamo, gathered in Jumilla, captained by the Mayor, Maria Antonia Conesa and two councilors of the City Council.
The reason for the visit was so great celebration of the V Meeting of women's associations in the town of Fuente Alamo, and this year was held in our town.
The visitors were received by the Mayor of Jumilla, who in the Council Chamber, welcomed them and encouraged Jumilla enjoy the day and to return to town.
After the visit to the City, and divided into four groups, visiting places like the Teatro Vico, where the Thalia Theatre Group, represented a theatrical piece and got to know through a projection, other local attractions.
After passing through the Theatre and Calle Cánovas, visited the Archaeological Museum and the Plaza de Arriba, and also the Church of Santiago.
After the visit held a living food at a popular restaurant in the town.
