The Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, and the Head of the Economy and Employment and directly responsible for the processing of aid, both the City Council and private persons, Angel Perez, presented the projects that the City has the LEADER approach, whose call ended on February 18 and that 164 applications have been filed by the Local Action Group for the Northeast Regional Development, which owns our town.
According to Enrique Jimenez said, in 2010 there were 63 applications, and in this second call 164, more than double.
This success is due to the work of the local action group, the Local development of each municipality and the department of Economy and Employment, and the local media, being very important part by sending to all citizens information such aid, and that Jimenez thanked his contribution.
If you execute the total eligible would reach 11 million euros of projects presented in the Northeast Region, of those 11 million, if you executed the percentages total 48% would run Jumilla, Yecla 30%, 8% in Abanilla and Fortuna 7.5% and 6.5 computed remaining part, as some aid was requested jointly by several municipalities.
Some of this aid is intended to City Hall and the rest for associations, groups and businesses.
Aid unproductive are subsidized up to 100%, made by councils and associations in training and production, eligible to 50%, usually presented by microenterprises.
These grants do not include VAT subsidize, but be paid by the applicant.
Jumilla has filed 52 cases, out of 164 total, ranking as the municipality has more projects, and therefore more investment which is expected to receive.
There are seven measures eligible under this call, and the largest is the Training with 43 applications, followed by rural heritage with 37, tourism with 32, Micro 21, Exploitation of Local Production 18 11 Population Services and Diversification into other activities with 2 projects., as reported by Angel Perez.
Evaluated all projects are measured in terms of a bareman points being equal, who would have preferred to keep score when receiving the subsidy since funds are limited.

The City Council has presented six projects, projects that meet these seven measures specific eligible activities can be summarized in two districts and tourism related activities:
1. - Conditioning of the Plaza de la Constitution Jumilla for 117,607 euros including VAT.
Being a place with historic surroundings, very poor and difficult to improve its own funds.
2. - Fitting Square Colleges Cañada del Trigo by 98,586.30 euros including VAT.
3. - Fitting Square Tower Rico 79,512.27 euros including VAT.
Both are districts in which there has been a long time investment, you need to remodel spaces as community center and hub of both.
4. - Signaling the Jumilla Wine Route by 16,284.72 euros including VAT.
For the impairment, and the inclusion of new members of the route, and also signaling the inclusion of a historical and tourist landmark buildings.
5. - Interpretation Centre Marquis de Villena by 113,377 euros including VAT.
6. - Conditioning Wine Interpretation Centre and Exhibition Hall of 140,431.44 euros VAT included, within which includes the furniture, and the air conditioning of the four buildings.
These six projects submitted by the City Council, would involve an investment of EUR 565,798.73, of which EUR 467,602.26 finance Leader approach, and the rest, 98,196.47 euros, would provide the City Council in respect of VAT.
It is possible that no subsidy to cover the local action group to which we belong, and that the City may request further assisted projects.
Many projects have been carried out for various issues, and has prioritized the improvement of the districts in the remodeling of the Plaza de la Constitution and tourism projects, said Jimenez.
