Councilman Agriculture, Paco Martinez and responsible Segura basin, Cesar Aviles, visited in the morning yesterday, the Charco del Zorro wetland, where the Confederation will perform some actions to improve soon.
During the visit, was also on the contractor who will execute the work.
The improvement works, which began last Wednesday in the Rambla del Aljunzarejo, are being carried out by the Segura basin.
This promenade is being done to strengthen the embankments with concrete, preventing corrosion and collapse, due to the drag of the water.
It also is working with heavy machinery, cleaning sediment from the coastline.
Among the actions that will perform the Segura basin in our town, is also planned to install handrails in the Mill Bridge, for safety of pedestrians and vehicles.
And in the wetland of Charco del Zorro, which will repair the piers and will renew the lanyard.
It is estimated that the execution of the work is valued at around seven thousand euros, and these actions are expected to complete before year end.
