The workshop started with the presentation of 4 Paws volunteers, who explained to them why the children celebrated the International Day of the Rights of Animals, and what those rights, then, participants developed a craft that consisted design a cardboard dog.
Subsequently, the volunteers of the association told them a story titled "My Animal Friends", which was written by them, which were reflected in the animal rights, the respect that must have them and tried to make children think on this matter.
In the story, two children accompanied Pluto to find its owner Mickey, as he was lost, and during their journey they encountered other animals like Bambi, The Aristocats, etcetera.
Finally, the kids made a mural that shaped pictures of animals with quotes related to some of their rights, such as right to food and hygiene and the right to run and be free, among many others.
In addition, the wall is painted hands as a symbol of freedom, and it should be noted that the collage hung in the children's room of the Public Library.
Since the association have said they are very pleased by the positive reception of this activity, since many children were asked when they were going to organize another workshop because they had so much fun.
"The truth is that the participants have been very good, have been focused on the tasks and the balance is very positive," explained the volunteers of 4 feet.
The activities of the association 4 Patas continue tomorrow at 20 am at the Centro Sociocultural Roque Baños, where will take place the conference "Animals: SOS", which will be participating members of 4 feet, and protective STIPA yeclana Spandy.
