In the afternoon yesterday the Department of Equality handed the diploma of completion of basic computer course that has been taught in recent months.
The courses, taught by FADEMUR in collaboration with the Department, have been offered in two sessions that involved a total of 30 women.
During the ceremony of diplomas, Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, has stressed the importance of such courses are to help reduce the digital divide that prevents access to information that is accessible today via Internet .
The courses have been offered some basic skills in the use of computers as well as access to many online resources, skills necessary in today's society.
Abellán women thanked all participants showed interest in participating in these activities and encouraged them to continue to do so in as many activities are planned.
During the ceremony in which also participated techniques Councillor Antonia Maria Simon and Paqui Ruiz, also exposed the activities framed within the Bank of Experiences will begin to offer soon, as well as other topics that are working the Department .
Currently being provided by city staff, other basic computer course focused on finding resources for access to employment, to be completed this week.
