The Mayor wanted to reiterate the gratitude of the City Council and on behalf of all the Jumillano, Interparroquial Caritas and all the volunteers for the work they are doing, regardless of the economic contribution, and clothes and food, they do citizens, for their important work in this difficult time with the underprivileged.
The Mayor has expressed the intention to continue working with Caritas to be very important that social support they provide, taking that helps the needy.
Enrique Jimenez also brought forward, to be contemplating this grant to Caritas in Budget 2013.
The President of Caritas Interparroquial Jumilla, Josefa Abellán, explained the projects that are taking place, stating that this money is going to solve many problems due to the needs that Caritas is covering.
Among the projects developed Interparroquial Caritas, and that includes the agreement signed today are: - Primary - includes food, pharmaceutical expenses, rental assistance, clothing, cost of electricity and water, in short, everything a person needs daily - The Virgin of Fatima playroom - welcomes children whose parents go to work early, taking them to school, on the bus, provided by the City, and back to the nursery, where they remain until the evening - Spanish classes to immigrants - which had been occurring for a while immigrants who demand it, - the closet -, - Attention bystanders - to which they are given room and board.
- Advice and support to immigrants - handling paperwork, referring them to the appropriate service.
Ultimately, Trying welcome people they approach and respond to them within the possibilities available Caritas.
Josefa Abellán wanted to thank the City Council's interest in signing this agreement, it took three years without receiving any subsidy and with this, they will meet many needs.
