This morning, Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, Councilman districts, Francisco Martinez, and councilors of the government team, met with the residents of the hamlet of the Farmhouse, to appoint Mayor Pedáneo thereof.
Whoever will be appointed as such is Abellán Thomas Nicasio, to replace the one now held this representation, Baldomero Marin, who also attended the meeting and that the mayor, wanted to thank publicly the work over the years made as a representative of the City in the hamlet of La Alquería.
Enrique Jimenez, explained to those present, about fifty people, that the appointment of headman has been delayed by the much needed change in the management of drinking water, since a few weeks ago was itself Neighborhood Association who managed, situation that required by the local authority, a clear choice to be the mixed company Aguas de Jumilla, in charge of water management, as well in the rest of the municipality, ensuring the operation of this basic service.
After make known to those present, the person to be appointed as Mayor-headman, and showing all present their agreement, we have proceeded to know any suggestions and / or needs assistants have wanted to move to the Mayor and to Council Members present.
Among the most prominent is the need to continue working on maintenance of public roads in the district, among other issues.
At the meeting, the Mayor said that once they are all appointed Puisne, will proceed to institutionalize a monthly meeting to be held with all the village headman, matching them periodically.
