This weekend, a team of 300 people moved to our town to shoot outdoor sequences for the film "The Counselor", as announced a few days ago after authorization by the Governing Board for cutting some rural roads Top Term.
A deployment of human and technical resources, including supporting actors, crew and director Ridley Scott himself, who have been in our town on Saturday and Sunday.
The Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, was invited by the producer, to witness the filming site, where he was joined by producers of thriller.
Filming concluded in Jumilla, having gone through various geographical areas of Spain and Navarra and Alicante.
After recording in our town, the team concludes the shoot and we have to wait until next year to see on screen, the film and the sequence recorded in our municipality.
The film takes place between the U.S. and Mexico, where an attorney is introduced into the world of drug trafficking.
The cast includes, among others, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
