Last week a contract was signed between the municipality and the company Public Management Consultants Ltd., which will be responsible for preparing the Report of jobs, and that was awarded after being assessed by municipal technicians, as the right deal.

According to John Calabuig, Councilman Staff and Internal Affairs, the City of Jumilla has not enough instruments in this regard, according to current legislation, therefore, urgently, required the development of the List of Posts Working as a legal instrument that allows to adjust to the reality of the needs and existing competencies, thus facilitating the difficult management of Human Resources, which is complex in itself.

Councilman recalled that the municipal People's Party group asked in previous legislatures, their wording to previous government teams.

Public Management Consultants Ltd., has nine months to develop the RPT, starting from the fifteenth day after the signing of the contract.

This period is divided into two phases, the first six months and the second of three, according to the work plan presented by it.

In the first stage, making contact with stakeholders that form the City, including union representatives are with those who gathered for the first time a few days ago.

Then made the data collection form the City staff, and determine a logical and functional, what should be the ratio of jobs more efficient and objective, according to the needs of the same, as reported Calabuig.

From the Department of Personnel and stressed that the contractor define the job, ie, define what things are done well, what things should improve and how to incentivize staff.

According Calabuig, this first contact with the company has been very positive, which is initiated, the process that will give the City Council a necessary tool that will determine the real and necessary assessment of each job.
