This morning, the Councillor for Traffic and Mobility, Marina Garcia, reported that upon completion the Fair and Festival 2012, have resumed work repainting crosswalks and markings, in addition to actions which are made from this Department, in collaboration with the Department of Services, for months.
Besides conducted refinishing jobs, are being painted for the first time, road markings vehicle stop before crosswalks, as the vast majority lack this signaling as important to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
Moreover, the painting is being carried out as in the regulations in force, in white.
The repainting is underway in the Avenida de la Asunción, since, according to the Councillor, was a priority for road markings were badly damaged, especially in crosswalks, avoiding possible accidents due to collisions.
The Traffic Department thanks citizens for their collaboration and understanding for any inconvenience they may cause during the course of this work.
