Pursuant to the scheduling of Campaigns and Operations Monitoring and Control for 2012 conducted by the Traffic Department, between 13 to 19 next February, will be a Special Campaign monitoring and control of trucks and vans, which will carry out inspections on vehicles (authorizations and documents, technical and security features, etc.) and drivers (driving license, driving times, breaks and alcohol).
The objective of this initiative is to ensure that all vehicles used to transport goods comply with the requirements covered by safety legislation.
From the Department of Traffic, warning of risk are driving trucks and vans is higher than in passenger cars, due to the load carrying equipment and less active and passive safety.
