The company generates more than 750 jobs in the food industry, which represents Lidón Garcia said, "24 percent of agricultural employment in the municipality and 6.7 percent of total employment in the locality", which has more than 26,000 inhabitants and a population of 11,000 people.
'Jumilla Golf' was born in 1986 from the union of 12 farmers to sell their fruit together.
It currently has a total of 125 members, nearly 600 acres of fruit and produce over 11 million kilos.
Its products include pear, peach, apricot, Paraguay, nectarine, plum and cherry, among others, to distribute the domestic market and exported to countries like Italy, Germany, UK, Portugal, France, Poland, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
