With the theme "Children: grapes, wine," the Institute of Jumilla Wine Culture is developing an activity that includes the possibility that some 300 students from Primary Schools of Prince Felipe and Mariano Suárez de Jumilla, visit vineyards, wineries and meet at the Museum Jerónimo Molina archaeological remains that make the region of Jumilla can boast 5,000 years of wine history.
So far, 13 and October 14 have been Carche Finance and Juan Gil wineries with this activity of the ICV, and have opened their doors to smaller pending for 20 and 21 visits Luzon and BSI.
Note that some of the objectives of this initiative is that children become familiar with an industry as important as the wine industry, not only for Jumilla if not for the Region and promote their knowledge of food that is the wine with the confidence in the future, this knowledge allows them to consume in moderation and appreciating how much that is hidden behind a bottle of Monastrell.
