La Ermita de San José de Jumilla, located in the Plaza de Arriba, hosts, from 3 to 26 June, an exhibition of paintings by Lorenzo Pérez Lozano.
Paz writes Miñano on Lorenzo "he began painting by chance. A friend gave him a brush, a fabric-covered table and three tubes of oil, and thus found a reason to spend free time I had."
Miñano Paz goes on to state that "began to paint at home and soon, his desire to excel and, again, chance led him to enroll in the People's University and there has been three years developing their creative ability, showing in his work every time greater mastery of technique and color. "
"He started painting the Surrealists, he continued with Cubism, Impressionism, landscape and has even dared the human figure," adds Miñano.
For Peace "his paintings, despite being copies of famous authors, have a strength and character denoting own innate creativity, with hard work and self-confidence will lead to a recognizable style."
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:00 and Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 14:00
