Last Sunday saw the traditional pilgrimage of Christ Tied to the column in which hundreds of Jumillano Jumillano and accompanied the image to its home the Franciscan convent of Santa Ana del Monte.
This is a holiday for all participants and, despite the large agglomeration of people, the day was ended without serious incidents.
The day began at half past six in the parish church of Santiago with a farewell Mass.
After she began the journey to the Hermitage of San Agustin, with a few words from the pastor, says goodbye to the city and begins his journey up the mountain.

Throughout all the way, the image of Christ was tied to the column is accompanied by hundreds of devotees, mostly walking but some on horseback or in carriages, and equally as many go out to his farewell until next year again return to the city to participate in the Easter Jumillano.
Back in Santa Ana, people moving up the mountain can enjoy a fun day with various activities, performances, stalls of gifts and souvenirs, as well as facilities to sample local produce.
This year, fortunately, time has been accompanied by what the influx of people has been massive.
Preventive pilgrimage without incident
The prevention of the Procession is one of the most important of the year and involved about 100 personnel, including members of Local Police, Guardia Civil, Red Cross, Fire Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue in the Region of Murcia, Hinneni Rescue Group, forestry agents, Murcia Health Service (of the Ministry of Health), Directorate General of Civil Protection, General Directorate of Natural Environment, Municipal Services of the Department of Services, Civil Protection Department and Environment Department .
Despite the large number of people moving up the mountain since Saturday afternoon and depending on the part of 112 there were no incidents of serious regret.
The highlight was the intervention of firefighters to extinguish a burning container in the vicinity of the parking lot and care less drunk.
