4 Legs Jumilla Association participated in the demonstration of Murcia against animal abuse in simultaneously held in 55 Spanish cities, as confirmed in a press release.
A total of 55 cities on Friday joined a popular initiative "No to animal abuse," responding to the call through social networks themselves, which are distributed pictures of a puppy two months to be tortured for 11 hours in a video of 20 minutes.
By way of breakin 'up, animals, protecting volunteers, fans, owners and pet lovers gathered in the Plaza de la Glorieta de Murcia to show their revulsion at an event which brought together about 300 people.
Among them were representatives of almost all rights movements of animals from different parts of the Region of Murcia.
The Association for the protection and defense of animals and plants (APAP) 4 feet Jumilla was represented by several of its volunteers and some of the dogs that one day passed through the housing association that manages the City Council since 2009.
4 Paws has added to the urgent demand for the amendment of the Penal Code, to get the tightening of the law against cruelty to animals and also joining the European Convention on Animal Protection Act.
From Jumilla APAP explained that it was really nice to get the same protest simultaneously in all provincial capitals of Spain and to participate to, as every day, be the voice of the voiceless.
Believe that in the Murcia region more and more organizations and individuals working for a problem that can be terminated only "if there is a clear and real intention of the political class and the government for it."
Meanwhile, count, "have to keep remembering that animals suffer and help is at our fingertips."
