Jumilla City Council, through its mayor Francisco Abellán, has signed with Cajamar, the second operation of credit in the amount of 1,500,000 euros.
Abellán has noted that "the granting of this and the previous loan shows that we have sufficient solvency to request, without authorization by the Ministry, with a single agreement of the Local Board and without having to go through full, and it is also shown to provide confidence to banks. "
The mayor has insisted that this amount of money, added to the previous loan, a total of 2,800,000 euros, which together with the amount of about 3 million remaining receivables from wind, "helps us to equip ourselves liquidity and to meet the commitments we have to pay providers with outstanding bills last year. "
Finally, the highest local authority added that "Jumilla comes in 10% of municipalities of Spain that has settled earlier policies with cash and not to subsequent policy renewals, which is very important and says a lot of these municipalities and very little of the 'cheats' that have not fulfilled the law, as required by Government to all municipalities.
