On Wednesday January 5th is the day for the smallest of the house as the King and Queen Magi visiting the city.
During his stay in Jumilla, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar distributed nearly 10,000 gifts and made several visits to various agencies, will receive the magic key from the mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán, culminating in the Grand Parade where you will be accompanied by almost of 30 social and cultural groups, with more than 600 people involved in the parade.
Celebrations Councilman Ildefonso Jimenez has invited all to attend these events to be organized in order "to maintain the illusion of the little ones."
Jimenez also thanked the cooperation of all groups Jumillano.
The planned program begins at four in the afternoon with the reception of their Majesties and all his entourage in the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños.
The following is taken to deliver his gifts to the residents of more life and the elderly and Asylum St. Teresa of Jesus and the geriatric Jornet Villa Sofia.
Then the Three Kings will receive the magic key to the city from Mayor Francisco Abellán they will welcome Jumilla.
The Grand Parade will begin at 18:00 pm, Plaza del Rollo, following Canovas del Castillo Street, Avenue of the Assumption Catholic Kings Avenue and ending at Plaza de la Alcoholera Small.
The parade will feature children's entertainment, musical fanfares and floats of the different groups.
Among others, take part in the parade Dogs Association of San Bernardo, Merchants Association, Songs and Dances, Association of Moros y Cristianos, San Juan, Santa Ana College AMPA, AA.VV San Fermin, Drums Christ Association of Blood AA.VV.
Barrio San Anton, AA.VV.
Calle Calvario, Peña Caballista, Brotherhood of Christ, St. John Parish, Caritas, AMPA School Our Lady of the Assumption, AMPA Stone Cross School and Brotherhood of Drums Cristo de la Misericordia.
Participants will represent figures like stars, Christmas trees and ornaments, Kings roscones present (gold, frankincense and myrrh), and the fairy tale Peter Pan, Leaves of Holly and characters like the Children of San Ildefonso, Pastors drummers live nativity scene and Hebrews, washers, donkeys, cars and horse chariots, weapons, real and Arab carriers, among others.
After the end of the parade and Roque Baños Center, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar distributed toys to all the young who come there.
These events are organized by the Department of Celebration, in collaboration with the Department of Services, Public Safety and Civil Protection.
