The departure of grants and reaches the highest level in its history, amounting to 1,430 million euros
The budgets are structured around the priorities outlined in the Action Plan 2010-2011, worth 590 million euros
Items are guaranteed enough to face challenges such as reducing dropout, promotion of foreign language learning and reinforcement of Vocational Training
Among the items for Universities, the International Campus of Excellence Program will have 98.3 million euros (8.7% over the previous year)
The scholarships, to 1.429 million euros in 2011 will eat half of government spending on education, amounting to 2,840 million.
The departure of aid to the study reflects a growth of 2.6% within an overall cut of 8.1%.
Scholarships are a big task left to the Ministry of Education in a devolved context in which the education budget for central government accounts for around 6% of all education spending, which amounted to 50,700 million euros in 2008 the rest depends on the communities.
The other big game (510 million) relates to territorial cooperation programs with communities to, among other things, extend the public squares of care, new technologies (Zapatero's promise to deliver laptops to students), programs reinforcement for the worst students or plan a new language.
University education is intended to 399.61 million, 6.8% more than in 2010, for the UNED and the International University Menéndez Pelayo (even core competence) and several aid programs.
The savings have been achieved essentially according to the Ministry of Education, cutting running costs of the department.
