For his part, Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Jane Guardiola has made a very positive assessment of the visit and stated that "it is a pleasure to visit us this series of personalities in the scientific world and the world of geology."

Guardiola has stated that this group of geologists have been at one of the places "of great geological interest, even global, as Celia Mines, deposits of the Sierra de las Cabras and the Hoya de la Sima, as well as Museum of Ethnography. "

Regarding the latter, the councilman of Culture has stated that "in this first floor we have a strong representation of what these sites mean to Jumilla and a very interesting collection of minerals."

"

Finally, he stated that "the two sites and the museum are entirely local, and we find it hard to keep them and therefore take this opportunity to call on government to work with us, who have already done at specific times, but it has harder to do because it can be a reference Jumilla regional, national or even global in the field of geology. "

After the conference, the representative of Portugal ProGEO stressed "from the scientific point of view are more critically important to understand some of the theories of global source of concern to conserve and preserve."

Also assessed interventions in these sites has been made in Jumilla.

Finally, José Brilha has stated that "no doubt that these deposits can become an international benchmark in the world of geology, which aroused great interest in the scientific world."

For his part, Patrick Weber, representative of France said that "as geologists understand the rocks, their importance and what we can tell, so we are aware that they must be protected and what is trying to convey, which care in a controlled manner. "

For Weber "the important thing is to see in place, both tracks such as drawing or representation of the animal to which it belongs, so that the public can understand."

Similarly, the representative of France in the ProGEO has insisted that "the importance of this heritage is outstanding and should work in conservation."

Finally, Enrique Diaz has stated that "there are things Jumilla interest and value as important natural heritage, and these experts want to find elements that are unique, such as 'jumillitas' or the tracks of camels are rare Miocene and that this help us understand aspects of life, where we have come and the current situation. "

Diaz also stressed the importance of culture and tourism represents the geological heritage "people they can learn about the history of peoples, landscapes, rocks, here are some wines that are due to some soils and climates and everything has a a source, this knowledge contributes to value what we have in our environment. "

This was a unique event, it is the first time they met in Spain Working Group ProGEO Southwestern Europe, which included Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, so it is of great interest to Jumilla, haberles able to show the geological and paleontological heritage of the municipality.
