On Monday, after holding an extraordinary plenary session, members of the local corporation made a simple act of recognition of the Civil Guard Lieutenant Francisco Gómez Domínguez.
He has served eight years in the town and has now been promoted to captain, with changing stations.
Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán stressed in his speech that "a person has been delivered and dumped the Civil Guard service, institutions and people of Jumilla, a person fully vocationally."
Abellán also noted that "his work is impeccable, I wish you all the personal and professional success and we always have friends."
In these words agreed the three spokespersons of the municipal, José Antonio Pérez (IU-LV), Enrique Jiménez (PP) and Jesús Sánchez (PSOE), who also highlighted his efforts, proximity, great job, availability and engagement with society Jumillano and delivery by the expansion and stability of the staff of the Guardia Civil of Jumilla.
For his part, and Civil Guard Captain, he thanked those words, notes that there is a great souvenir of the city and said that "even without being here, I consider myself a Jumillano of adoption."
Francisco Gómez Domínguez, who was accompanied by his immediate family, received a plaque with the emblem of the city, in memory and in which one could read "Francisco Gómez Domínguez, in gratitude for services rendered to the town of Jumilla.
