On Tuesday July 21, signed a cooperation agreement between Expoboda Merchants Association with the Association Jumilla Wine Route, with the Asociación Proyecto Abraham, the result of a meeting held at City Hall sponsored by the Department of Environment .
This agreement involves the implantation of a system of separate collection of clothing, footwear and toys in every shop Jumillano, which must involve giving up a secure covered space and its facilities for the location of a collection of textile wastes consisting of a cardboard paper for dimensions (60x40x40cm), the contents will be collected weekly by a team of Abraham Project.
If the bins are completed before the week, there will be immediate pick-up service through telephone advice.
Those retailers or restaurants that do not have the cardboard bin, also can contact the Association for Project Abraham hand them their textile waste.
The Department of Environment is also working closely with this project so that all Jumilla traders who are interested in this project, and are not affiliated to any of these groups, they can contact the Environment Service City Council to facilitate their participation, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00 in the main courtyard of City Hall or call 782 020 968 Ext 222.
This awareness campaign was made public on June 30, 2010, in a press conference in which Jesus Sanchez was present Cutillas, First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for the Environment of the City of Jumilla and President Abraham Project, Rafael Sanchez .
Abraham Project is a nonprofit association established in three towns in the Region of Murcia: Murcia, Cieza and Caravaca de la Cruz.

Abraham Project Manager is also non-hazardous waste is specifically authorized for the collection and management of waste textiles, footwear and toys.
This activity serves this partnership to fund social programs serving the disadvantaged.
With the city of Jumilla, Abraham Project maintains a cooperation agreement for the collection of this waste which is removed by metal containers currently located in the street and in eco-park or spot clean.
With these and other actions, the city of Jumilla continues (as it has done since 2001), promoting the recycling of this waste in the municipality.
Awareness campaigns will be reinforced in October, with talks of awareness in schools of the county, giving children meet social and environmental benefits of recycling clothing, shoes and toys.
