Last Friday, took place in the classroom culture of CAM, the presentation of the book "The First Republic in Jumilla: Documentary Analysis Chapter Acts', authored by José Luis González Olivares, director of the Archives and the Public Library Jumilla.
This activity is included in the Series 'The Library Presents' which is carrying out the Department of Culture, through the Municipal Library.
The event involved Isidoro Gil Leiva, Professor of Archives and Information Management at the University of Murcia and Saorin Thomas, president of ANAB.
The author explained the completion of the book and his interest in this historical period and stressed the importance of the documentary of the Municipal Archives of Jumilla, encouraging researchers and the general public to know that documentation.
At the event, which attracted a large turnout of people (over one hundred people), were present including representatives of all civic groups, local writers and scholars, as well as the Deans of the Faculties of Information Science and Communication the Universities of Murcia and Carlos III of Madrid.
