The Jumilla Road Education Center, located in the hamlet of La Estacada, is in the process of renovating its facilities with a view to the start of the new Road Safety Campaign, in which schoolchildren from the municipality will once again take part Months of April, May and June.
The classroom is being renovated in which the theory is being taught, which is being repainted and organized in a more adequate way.
Likewise, work is being done in the practice park, whose perimeter is being decorated with wheels, which will give it greater security.
Also, it will have a new recreation area and more attractive areas for future drivers through the pruning, landscaping and redecoration work that is being carried out in the circuit.
Part of the work is being carried out by 15 students of the Youth Guarantee system who belong to the Mixed Program of Employment and Training Botanical Garden, financed by the SEF and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
This morning they visited the installation the councilor for Public Safety, Eugenio Aguado, and the chief officer of the Local Police of Jumilla, Antonio Luis Mula, accompanied by the agent, Pascual David Muñoz, and the head of the PMEF Jardín Botánico, Laura López, who have detailed the improvements that are underway.
Until the renovation works are completed, the installation will remain closed to the public.
After its implementation, it can once again be enjoyed by students who participate in the school campaign and during the weekends by anyone who wants to visit it.
