The City of Jumilla is going to hire nine full-time unemployed people for a period of six and a half months through the Local Public Employment Program, once a grant has been granted by the Regional Service of Employment and Training and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
On the one hand, two masonry officers and three laborers will be hired to carry out maintenance, repair and conservation work on public roads in Jumilla and districts.
The total cost of the project is 78,182.26 euros, with the subsidy granted of 67,514 euros.
On the other hand, four other masonry pawns will be added for possible work of conditioning, debris and conservation of roads and public spaces in the outskirts of Jumilla and districts.
In this case the cost of the project is 55,173.95 euros with subsidy granted of 52,486 euros, with the rest being assumed by the City of Jumilla.
The hiring is planned for the next months.
The personnel selection process will be done through the Employment and Training Service (SEF), so it is recommended that the data be updated.
The Councilor for Economy and Employment, Juan Gil, stressed that "this is a good job opportunity for people who have been unemployed for a long time, so it is a satisfaction to have achieved these two grants."
