The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking has proceeded to the arrest, in flagrante, of an experienced offender when driving in a vehicle with which he tried to run away .
It is attributed the presumed authorship of the crimes of drug trafficking, against road safety and as an agent of the authority.
They have been apprehended 200 doses of heroin, 50 doses of cocaine and seized 6,088 euros, a balance of precision, two weapons and a tourism.
The action began when the Prevention of Citizen Safety of the Benemérita, while patrolling the urban area of ​​Jumilla, detected the abnormal circulation of a vehicle.
In order to identify their driver, the agents gave the vehicle police stop, which continued the march with evasive maneuvers, invading the lane in the opposite direction and causing a serious risk to the rest of the road users.
He drove at great speed for 14 kilometers
This reckless driving took place for 14 kilometers, until the perpetrator, in his flight, collided with a vertical traffic signal, which caused serious damage to one of the tires, so he ended up losing control of the vehicle to get off the road and hit a tree.
At that time, the civil guards managed to identify him while he was violent and aggressive, hitting the civil guards, who finally reduced and detained him.
He moved from Hellín (Ab) to supply other Jumilla traffickers
The examination of the vehicle allowed locating a bag with 200 doses of heroin, 50 doses of cocaine, a digital scale, two weapons, and 6,088 euros in cash, all of which was seized.
According to the investigation, the suspect carried out drug transactions from Hellín (Ab) to Jumilla, supposedly intended to supply other traffickers in the area.
The action culminated with the arrest, in fraganti, of a male, 46, Spanish, neighbor of Hellín (Albacete) and with a bulky criminal record as alleged perpetrator of drug trafficking crimes, against road safety and attack to agent of the authority.
The arrested, the drug seized, the money, the tourism, the seized effects and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Juzgado de Instrucción number 2 of Jumilla (Murcia).
