The City of Jumilla has hired 14 people for a period of six months through the Local Public Employment and Youth Guarantee Programs, through a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the European Social Fund, the City Council itself assuming the remaining costs.
Through the Local Public Employment Program, a technician has been hired to design and maintain web sites whose main objective is to promote local tourism through fairs and tourist events, as well as social networks and web pages.
The total cost of the project is 10,007.24 euros, with the grant awarded of 9,519.23 euros. In addition, a painter, two electricians and two gardener laborers have been incorporated to proceed with the conservation of the municipal buildings that are located in the different districts and rural nuclei scattered.
In this case, the cost of the project is 57,283.20 euros with subsidy granted of 44,480.77 euros, with the rest being assumed by the City Council of Jumilla.
Through the Youth Guarantee Program, two computer technicians have been added at a cost of 19,614.48 euros, subsidized at 99%.
Likewise, two other painters, two gardeners, a carpenter and an electrician have been hired for maintenance and repair work on public roads and buildings, as well as in industrial estates.
In this case the cost is 57,283.20 euros, of which 45,517.71 euros have been subsidized.
