The Governing Board has approved the list of technical requirements and administrative clauses and the procedure for the award of the maintenance contract for the green areas of Jumilla is opened by an open procedure, with a starting price of 1,207,580 euros for a contract of two years of duration extendable to two others.
The contract has important improvements compared to the previous one.
It will go from 10 to 16 workers, who will give coverage to 91,395 square meters of green areas, while before it was 57,000 square meters.
It assumes the care of practically all the gardens of the urban area, including the flowerpots, being the maintenance of the green zones of the districts, polygons, avenue of the Freedom and Charco del Zorro in charge of the municipal gardeners.
This new contract will eliminate the use of blowers due to its high noise.
