The councilman of Commerce, Juan Gil, accompanied by the staff of the area, has presented this morning the campaign 'Keep Calm and Buy in Jumilla', which is launched with the aim of encouraging local trade and thus purchases in the small commerce that contribute to the local development of the city.
"We must create awareness in consumers that the products and services offered by the municipality are products that compete perfectly in price and quality in the global market in which we live, are products and services offered by our friends, our neighbors. Much of our consumption is carried out in shops in our municipality we all win, "said the mayor of the area.
The idea is to unify the image of local commerce, offering a common image of close, competitive and quality commerce.
The start of the campaign coincides with the arrival of winter and Christmas shopping, a period par excellence for sales in almost all commercial sectors.
The duration of the campaign will also cover the following months, when after the joy of consumption of the Christmas holidays sales fall.
The chosen slogan is part of contemporary popular culture and is universally known, has been used in many social campaigns, has been used by advertising agencies and has been printed on hundreds of posters, since it has a great visual impact and a message Clear.
The images of the "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters, (whose translation is "Keep Calm and Going Forward") will be used, adapted to the purchase in the local market, the message to be transmitted would be "Keep Calm and Buy in Jumilla. "
Signs will be distributed in the different shops, several mupis will be used throughout the city and an advertising campaign will be carried out in all the local media.
In addition, 4,000 reusable bags printed with the logo of the campaign have been prepared, which will distribute the stores from December 21 for purchases over 30 euros.
Stores interested in having bags must register in the form provided for this purpose on the municipal website from tomorrow.
Each store that registers will be given 15 bags, while supplies last.
The bags are reusable with the main objective that the campaign remains in time beyond the time of purchase, but also to raise awareness about the protection of the environment, the message being transmitted "the Jumilla trade takes care of the environment environment, take care of your city and take care of you ".
To fortify the campaign, badges will be given to the merchants with the commitment of them to wear the badge on their work clothes, which means that each time they attend a customer, the message of purchase in Jumilla will be present.
