The mayor of Jumilla, Juana Guardiola, the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Martinez, and the president of the Association of Craftsmen, Laly Martínez, inaugurated last night an exhibition that commemorates the tenth anniversary of the rehabilitation of the building that houses the Casa del Artesano.
It is a collective exhibition of artisans who belong to the association or who belonged at the time. You can contemplate different craft disciplines, as small samples of the work of each of them. It will be on display until December 21 and you can visit the Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This week has also signed a collaboration agreement between the City Council and the Association of Artisans of Jumilla for which the association receives the amount of 2,000 euros with the aim of continuing to enhance the crafts in the town.
The objective is that the Casa del Artesano continues to have constant programming and an opening during all the weekends without interruptions.
La Casa del Artesano is located on Calle Rico, 12, in the popularly known as 'Casa Honda', a Renaissance building that was declared BIC, with a monument category and restored in 2007.
