The first semifinal of the Regional Track and Field Winter Championships for the infantile and cadet categories will take place this Saturday at the La Hoya de Jumilla Municipal Sports Center.

The test was presented this morning by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel García, and the secretary of Athletic Club Vinos de Jumilla.

The competition will start at 09.40 hours with the 5 km race for the male cadet category and the 3 km race for female and male cadet boys and girls.

Later there will be successive launches of weight, jump of height and length, 60 meters flat or half-depth tests such as 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 meters that will be extended until after 2:00 pm.

There will be about 350 athletes from 35 different clubs, including the local club that will present the competition a good number of athletes.
